No, I'm not crazy and this is not a joke page. The fact is that there are many blind and visually impaired people who take photographs in one way or another and there has never been a better time to do it in the technological age in which we live.
I hope this page will dispel any thought that "blind people can't....." (fill in the blank) and I hope there's enough here to get you started if you're a visually impaired person who fancies picking up a camera.
The pages referred to here are about blind photographers and their work, techniques that anyone could use to take photos, and ways of representing the finished images.
This is a UK-based site, but that doesn't exclude material from elsewhere.

She runs her own company, Miracle Images. She has an exhibition called "What's wrong with this picture?" Unique Perspective, is like a career-cast by Traci herself.

Accessible Image a mailing list on freelists to discuss many forms of graphical images accessible to blind people, including photography. There are also several Art Beyond Sight mailing lists hosted by the National Federation of the Blind.
